the reason I'm asking is cause ppl are saying that crysis won't play on windows 7 and I was wondering if that was because they upgraded or if they bought a windows 7 laptop.Do you have any problems installing and running crysis on a laptop shipped with windows 7 premium home?
Crysis runs fine on Windows 7.
The problem is that the large majority of laptops come configured with Graphic cards that are entirely inadequate for playing high resolution and demanding games like Crysis at an acceptable frame rate.
You can get a system with the fastest desktop or laptop processor available but if it relies on integrated graphic cards or even a slightly upgraded card it will still perform poorly in a game like Crysis.Do you have any problems installing and running crysis on a laptop shipped with windows 7 premium home?
Crysis will play just fine under Windows 7, but it's very demanding of video cards. Integrated video and low end cards typical of laptops just aren't up to running Crysis at playable framerates.
If you really purchased that y460 with the top end Mobility Radeon HD 5650 video card, it will play Crysis at low to medium video settings.
